This is the block that I designed for this issue, called Candy Stripe:
For the sample block for the magazine, I used my Fruitful Hands fabric line (shown above). But I also tried making a block using my Oh Holy Night fabric line:
I got the name for the block because it kind of reminded me of a wrapped candy for some reason
and also because, it is obviously striped.
You could arrange these blocks in a couple of different ways:
All blocks going in same direction.
Rotating alternating blocks 90 degrees creates a cool pattern.
Adding sashing really looks neat.
Blocks set on point.
Blocks set on point with the addition of sashing.
All of the above designs were done with the Christmas fabric. Here is one done with Fruitful Hands, which is more Spring-y/ Summer-y:
Speaking of Spring-y/ Summer-y things... what did everyone think of our latest e-magazine which went out last week? I hope you tried the cookie recipe- they were so good :)

B) Slow and steady wins the race. I work on them all year round and pretty much have them done by Christmas week.
C) I start on December 15 and fuel myself with espresso, Red Bull and dark chocolate, baby!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!

I am a B - work slow and steady thru the year, but try to have everything finished by Dec1st so I can relax (and enjoy) thru the month.
ReplyDeleteI'm somewhere between a B and a C. I've never come close to being and A!
ReplyDeleteLooking at a B here..great block.
ReplyDeleteSomething between B and C would be me,lol! Your block looks great! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI am a B-. :D And sometimes have to give up my original plans and come up with something store-bought.
ReplyDeleteYour block is very effective Jacquelynne. The quilts look like kaleidoscopes (not sure of the spelling!). I would say I'm a "B". I'm making Christmas projects all year round.
ReplyDeleteAlternative B is the best fit for me. You designed a great block!
ReplyDeleteI love the design variations of your block! I'm a C person; I'll wait 'till the last minute and marathon sew until done LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks sew much for this chance to win :-D
And I follow you on FaceBook. Thanks for this additional chance to win!
ReplyDeleteB. If I don't work on them all year they won't get done. Of course, there are always a few projects that get added at the last minute just to keep things interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis year I would rate myself as a B..I am making something each month and putting it away in a 'Christmas box' so come the end of the year there should be a variety of things I've made...love the block and you have given us some fabulous variations to make as quilts..thank you..
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say I was a B, but I am more C than anything else....love your block...can't wait to try it. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'm sort of B/C person. I start earlier than mid-December but don't work on them all year. I sort of start thinking about Christmas right after Labor Day.
ReplyDeleteI am more of a B person. I work on them throughout the year and I like to be finished by Halloween.
ReplyDeletesyvisser@gmail(dot)com
I would be most like a C person. I have to wait until at least November to get in the red/green fabric mood. Then I sew like crazy and usually end up with a UFO or two!
ReplyDeleteI am now a Facebook fan!
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas! House gifts, personal gifts, doesn't matter. When the inspiration strikes I create! There's a lot of 'Christmas in July' in my life! 122160boyle@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteHonestly I just make them when the mood hits me. :) Sometimes I get in the mood in April, July or whatever.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great block Jacquelynne! my favourite today!
ReplyDeleteI'm a C but I'd love to be a B!!
I am probably a "C". I have good intentions, but never seem to get started very early :-)
ReplyDeleteI like to work on mine year round (B).
ReplyDeleteI *want* to be B, but I typically end up being C. Bah. I *adore* your block -- great job with it!!! This will definitely be something I want to try. Great job!
ReplyDeleteAnd I *do* like you on Facebook! :)
ReplyDeleteI collect ideas year round and usually start working on them in July
ReplyDeleteChristmas crafting usually starts in October. We still have snow and I just don't want to think about Christmas. Thanks for your candy wrapper block.
ReplyDeleteI try to do my best through out the year, but there's something about fall that gets me going.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I liked you on Facebook, again love your designs.
ReplyDeleteI already Like you on FB and I like how you show all the layouts with your fabrics. Thanks for the chance to WIN this magazine.
ReplyDeleteI usually try to start my Christmas crafting early, but end up with plan b or c by December. No red Bull for me. Just a few all - nighters.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the project. Big quilts get an early start for sure or appliqué projects start early as well. Love your block. Thank you for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMary
I'm a cross between B and C. I start early, but there are always those last few projects that are being finished at the final minute.
ReplyDeleteI'm a 'C' - but I usually have to say, "We'll, it'll get finished in time for next Christmas..."
ReplyDeleteI'm a C.... but I get an F as I'm not sure I've ever finished anything on time. I have a little touch of SOS (shiny object syndrome)
ReplyDeleteI wait until the last minute. I am a procrastinator but i do get things done.
ReplyDeleteI would have to choose c) from that list though probably d) too late! would be more accurate!
ReplyDeleteI am probably between b and c. I decide a bit late to do too much!
ReplyDeleteI am now a Facebook fan :)
ReplyDeleteI like you on Facebook. I was thinking of using your creative block and using all of the candy wrapper colors you have shown us. That would make one special and beautiful quilt. Of course, I would now have to win a copy of QM 100 Blocks, Volume 7 for myself. Thank you for the chance to win and I enjoy my visits to your blog. Yes, I loved your latest email and I would have to be the "B" quilter.
ReplyDeleteSandi Timmons
Probably D, nothing like having a little extra stress, to add to the enjoyment of the
ReplyDeleteholidays. Love the block and the fabrics. Congratulations on being selected.
Love the block! I usually start working on Christmas the end of September, which is ridiculous. I should start in July.
ReplyDeleteHm ... I guess (B), although I don't normally make too many Christmas presents. In the last few years I've been making quilts for my immediate family members but for the most part, the people in my gift circle don't like homemade things and want gadgets and storebought stuff! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteFun! Really love the diversity of the block! I start just after Christmas and go to December. Not as organized as I'd like to be -- but so many things get in the way (gardening, weddings, birthdays) and something is needed for all of them!
ReplyDeleteI generally start making Christmas presents by mid-summer, and still manage to be rushing to finish by mid-December. Last year, my sister and I set up at a holiday crafts bazaar, too, so I was practically stitching in my sleep right up to Christmas Eve...LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Facebook Fan :-)
ReplyDeleteSadly, I don't usually begin Christmas thinking until Nov. Then I scramble like crazy.
ReplyDeleteIt would be fun to try your block in Christmas stripes. Makes me think of peppermint candy.
I really love your block. But I don't really make Christmas projects. I take so long to make anything that I don't want it to be something that is only seasonal! Love your blog, and your fabric line!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I just liked you on Facebook too :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Block! I start on December 15 and fuel myself with espresso, Red Bull and dark chocolate, baby!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Dec 15th. I always say I'm going to work on it all year and the next thing I know Dec. is here and I have to rush.
ReplyDeleteLove the block. I like the combination of string piecing, and the fact that it can also work like a Drunkard's Path.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually have specific "Christmas" projects. I have a supply of Christmas-themed fabric, but I haven't actually made anything out of it in years. I sold some on ebay last December, a really cute Santa with his list of "Good Kids". I felt like it deserved a better home.
lovely work
ReplyDeleteI start out thinking in July that I should make gifts but I wait till Dec. 15th for the espresso and chocolate. Fan4may at aol dot com
ReplyDeleteI have never stopped working on Christmas projects! I always have one or two and seem to pick yup Christmas fabric here and there along the way. What fun!
ReplyDeleteI do not normally do holiday projects. If I do, I tend to start mid-summer.
ReplyDeleteI liked your facebook page.
ReplyDeleteI work on them off and on all year.
ReplyDeleteblsl@progressivetel.com
I'm between B & C. I usually start in September & have been known to be sewing the day of the event!
ReplyDeleteI've been working on Christmas projects since January. Maybe this year I'll even finish them! I really like the versatility of this block.
ReplyDeleteI am working on Christmas presents all year long.
ReplyDeleteCongrats for having your block featured. It is gorgeous...and I love all the variations! Thanks for the chance! I work on Christmas projects all year long!
ReplyDeleteI already like you on FB
ReplyDeleteI am just on my 10th month of quilting/sewing. I didn't get alot done last year, I spent so much time reading blogs and looking at fabric! I did manage 3 quilts for my grand daughters :) This year I will start in August perhaps!
ReplyDeleteI try to start by September!
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt block!
I guess I would choose option C, but not quite December 15. I usually get started in November and work until Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm somewhere between a B and a C--I usually start seriously working on projects in the fall, although I plan and think about what I'm going to do most of the year. I just need a little Christmas spirit to really spur me into action! (BTW--the block is great!)
ReplyDeleteI love your block and fabrics! The stripes are especially delicious.
ReplyDeleteI am a C type of person as far as Christmas is concerned. I don't like winter. so I try not to think of it as long as I can.
ReplyDeleteI am a "steady as you go" person so guess I classify as B. I loved your block "Candy Stripe" especially in the holiday fabrics. Each of the various ways of putting the blocks together have a uniqueness to them. Especially like the backgrounds that help the blocks to "pop".
ReplyDeleteI am a B person:) I have the ideas in mind and will start collecting and then sewing:)
ReplyDeleteYour block would be awesome scrappy too!
I am a Facbook follower:)
ReplyDeleteI also get your emails:)
Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI usually start thinking about Christmas in late October, and I try to be realistic about what I can accomplish in the time I have. But I DO love giving handcrafted gifts!
ReplyDeleteI'm a "B", although even with a yearlong effort and an awesome spread sheet I sometimes push my projects onto the list for next year.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the block. Sometimes it is hard to find a block that works with stripes. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI am a "B" in January, then a "C" around Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteLovely block! I'm a C person.
ReplyDeleteFacebook fan - YES~
ReplyDeleteBummer--I have to admit that I'm a "C". I never plan ahead, but I always have good intentions to start earlier.
ReplyDeleteI follow on FB
ReplyDeleteI try to start a head of time, I have the top done for my niece's quilt and am hoping to get it quilted by the end of May, and hope to get my nephew's rag quilt done by the end of May also. I'm moving in Oct. so I hope to have all Christmas gifts made by then!
ReplyDeletemissysaprons@gmail.com
A - because the clearance Christmas fabrics are on sale. :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDelete"B" Great block! Congrats on getting in the magazine!
ReplyDeleteBlogged here http://salliessampler.blogspot.com/2013/04/go-today.html
ReplyDeleteI have to say C. I keep hoping that one day I will learn to get them done early, but I'm not there yet. Congrats on your great block. I like all of the layouts you showed. Thanks for the chance to win a copy of the magazine.
ReplyDeleteI loved the magazine and purple is one of my favorite colors so the shades of purple page was gorgeous. As far as what category I am in for sewing Christmas projects I think that at one time or another I have fit into all three with A being the least likely and C being the most likely.
ReplyDeleteI already like your Facebook page.
ReplyDeleteWonderful block and it looks so pretty in both of those fabric lines. I am a slow and steady and work on my CHristmas things all year but then it gets to December and I see all sorts of new projects so I am working like crazy all through December.
ReplyDeleteFirst I must tell you how much I adore your block Jacquie! It's awesome and my favorite so far. I really love it using your 'O Holy Night' fabrics the most. Just gorgeous. And the variations created depending on which way you put the blocks together are wonderful. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHmmm Christmas ~ my answer to your question would be choice #4 - in my mind I begin in June every single year BUT........in reality, I start about December 20th and then don't have time to stop to drink the Red Bull. LOL Three years ago I was just putting the finishing touches on a gift for my Granddaughter (only one at that time) as they were coming in our back door for Christmas. This past Christmas I did SO much better and finished the little dress for my Granddaughter's Christmas dress (2nd Granddaughter 11 mo. old then) at 2am Christmas morning. Then I had to get up at 6am to start cooking the Christmas Brunch that was to be at my house starting at 11am. ACK. I just never will learn I guess. I've always and probably will always be THE Queen of procrastination sadly. I've always done my best work in anything I do at the last minute. I tell myself every single June that I WILL start now but one thing after another then all of a sudden, it's December again. ugh. At least I have already decided what I am making for everyone and have already purchased the supplies and fabrics so thankfully that much has been done but the actual stitching - nope, that's always seconds before Christmas Day. LOL
just to be sure vburr at charter dot net
I have already liked your FB page in the past.
ReplyDeletevburr at charter dot net
I start working on Christmas gifts in January...then forget about them. Remember again in September and then start another project. Then in November I am working non-stop on gifts...LOL Love your block. Thanks for the giveaway. Hugs
ReplyDeletejust love the pattern..especially done in Christmas colors.. it makes such an amazing quilt
ReplyDeletedhardenburg at prodigy dot net
I'm a slow and steady kind of gal!
ReplyDeleteI really like your candy stripe block, and thanks for posting so many possibilities for arrangement of the blocks!
ladara at cfl dot rr dot com
I allready am a follower of both your blog & facebook. It's amazeing how different the blocks can look just by changeing the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun block! Thanks for showing all the differnt ways to use it!
ReplyDeleteI start working on Christmas projects in January and continue to start another project as soon as the last one is done. Love this block with so many possibilities. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm a facebook fan!
ReplyDeleteWell I must confess to answer c- start on December 15 and fuel myself with espresso,Red Bull and dark chocolate, baby!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!! I am sure I am not the only one with this bad habbit though.
ReplyDeleteI am a B type person slow and steady. Thanks for a chance to win
ReplyDeleteI'm more of a C person though I would love to be a B. Your block looks so versatile.

ReplyDeleteI blogged about this! http://quarterincher.blogspot.com
ReplyDeletehttp://quarterincher.blogspot.com/2013/04/day-1-of-quiltmakers-100-blocks-blog.html
Love this on point! Your right it does resemble those glossy bright candy wrappers. Good show, and cannot wait to get my hands on this latest edition.
ReplyDeleteI try to be a B type person, but no matter how steadily I work on projects through the year, I am always finishing things up on Christmas Eve (or Christmas morning!) Maybe because I always find so many great ideas in the last few weeks before Christmas and have to try some of them. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWonderful choices for your design. I'm definitely "C" to answer your question!
ReplyDeleteI usually start thinking about Christmas gifts in June or July and have good intentions of getting started but usually don't start things until October. Then I have to work pretty steady to get things done in time. I really like your block! The effect is quite different depending on the fabric you choose.
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, I don't tend to do holiday projects -- I've got enough on my plate with all my other UFOs!
ReplyDeleteJust Liked your FB page. Enter me again!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI never start or stop christmas gifts, its na ongoing thing.
ReplyDeleteCombination of B and C. I usually start really well, get most things done, and then at the last minute realize that I am not as far along as I should be and chaos ensues.
ReplyDeleteWhat a unique block! I love all the variations for settings. I'm a B, I like to sew and when I see something I know someone will like, I make it. Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteReally like the alternate settings for your block and especially the on point version. I am definitely in the "C" category for when I start working on Christmas gifts -- I try and try to do it sooner - if I stick to small project sizes and start Thanksgiving weekend I do better. I have on Christmas quilt intended for my daughter in law that has been on my list for several years. lol I do work on it each year so one day it will get done I just know it. ;)quiltedsister541@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI'm a slow and steady - I work all year. I get bored with projects that take a while, so the ability to go back and forth keeps them from ending up in the UFO pile. Loved your block for the newest block book.
ReplyDeleteFacebook fan here.
ReplyDeleteI always wait until the last moment for everything it seems!
ReplyDeletehulseybg at gmail dot com
I am a 'B' as I work on things during the year and try to have all gifts ready by the end on October.
ReplyDeleteI just retired so while I have been a C (with a fair amount of "Well maybe next year) I'm going to try to be a B this year.
ReplyDeleteI try very hard to be a "B" worker, but generally end up being a "C" worker anyway. Your block is very pretty. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteAs soon as Christmas is over I write my list of who and what....Being April 29 I have two sweater sets completed almost, and 4 quilts....I have 4 rows of the Kansas Dugout quilt that I'm giving my youngest daughter for xmas 2013...each daughter is getting a sweater set which includes a sweater, toque, two pair of mittens, and 4 pair of socks...then they get two quilts... the sweater sets will be wrapped in the quilts...I have this Kansas Dugout quilt to go and its the last quilt needed for Xmas...but I still have to finish one sweater set....they deserve it....they're such great helpers....Anyways...have a great QM 100 tour...
ReplyDeleteI really like the Christmas version of your block! I'm a sucker for anything Christmasy!

ReplyDeleteAnswer to the question is C. Nice block, congrats and thanks for the chance to win.
I'm a #2--slow and steady. Don't always win the race, but I get pretty close to the finish line!! Your block would be great for scrappy string or selvedge piecing!!
ReplyDeleteMost of the time I'm a C. But I get my ideas too late. THanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI just make stuff and if it's done by Christmas it can be given away. Or my daughters "shop" from the "Box of Finished Things" for their gift-giving list.
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to your newsletter! As far as Christmas goes, it's a little difficult because both my parents passed around Christmas and although it's been several years, I still have difficulty celebrating. Maybe when I have grandchildren, soon I hope, that will change. My sister flies to the midwest to be with her grandchildren during the holidays, so the rest of us just get together for dinner. At this stage in my life I am trying to "downsize" so i try not to accumulate unnecessary things. I usually try to make or give practical gifts. This past year I made pot protectors for my sister for her new set of pans that she was using the cardboard that came with them!-and she was impressed! I tell her to spend her money on her grandkids, that I don't need anything, but she alway brings me a momento. Sorry to be so "down" Thanks for the opportunity to win some great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteC. I'm queen of the last minute and don't start til late December!
ReplyDeleteMy answer is B. I work on them all year long. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI always want to do them through the year, but my answer is C. I just can't get motivated earlier using holiday fabrics when it's hot out.
ReplyDeleteI usually think about what I want to make for gifts
ReplyDeletearound the first of December and then I'm rushing on
Christmas Eve.
I love seeing your block in different settings, lots of possibilities.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I start in January and then put everything aside until November. December is a mad rush.
ReplyDeleteLike seeing your block in diffferent arrangements. Nice
I forgot to answer you question, lol. But I have liked your facebook page and adding my answer here.
ReplyDeleteI make things for christmas all year long, but more so this year so I can have plenty of gifts and still have time to make things for me.
Debbie
I usually start Christmas is August. Tanks for a chance to win
ReplyDeleteI'm somewhere between a B and a C, I think. I usually start getting serious about making them around July through to the first week of December.
ReplyDeleteB I work on them all year. Thanks for the chance to win
ReplyDeleteI work on Christmas projects all year long.
ReplyDeleteI am a B. But I always see another project I want to make for Christmas, so do have long hrs of sewing in Dec. Sometimes I just put it away and hold it until next year.
ReplyDeleteNone of the above? I usually start thinking about Christmas in August or September. But I'm usually the one panicking in the stores the week before looking for the "perfect" gift.
ReplyDeletecherietwilliams@hotmail.com
WEll, I think about it all year long, start around November and get panicked as Christmas gets closer. It was fun to see how your block changed depending on how you moved it around the quilt. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have a very hard time deciding what gift to make. So I am closer to #3. I start late and usually run out of time. Thanks for reminding me. I think I will log off and go down to my sewing room and start planning now.
ReplyDeleteI usually start my Christmas projects in July or August. I have made a new Christmas quilt or throw each year for the past 10 years. Want all the grandkids to have a couple.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the drawing chance.
Love this block design and all the different ways you have shown to use it.
ReplyDeleteI usually start with plenty of time doing Christmas and then run out of it and everyone gets Christmas in March or April. The only thing I ever finished on time were my daughters wedding dresses. Sad, I know. But I am busily working my fingers to the bone this year to change my M.O.
forgot my email mom.spanogle@gmail.com
DeleteI like it!
ReplyDeleteI am a "C" - the original late bloomer!
ReplyDeleteI like you on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteFruitful Hands colors are so luscious! What a great block for them!
ReplyDeleteLOL! #C I work best under pressure, but I do start a little earlier than Dec 15! :)
ReplyDeleteThe closest would be "B", but actually more like sometime in October after I have my Halloween things done. Love your block and congrats. I'm looking forward to having this magazine. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI already "LIKE" you on facebook.
ReplyDeleteC.....grin
ReplyDeleteI follow you on FB
ReplyDeleteB - Slow and steady wins the race. I've already got several gifts either finished or started...but with as big a family as I have, I have no choice but work all year long on the gifts. :)
ReplyDeleteHi!!! I am an almost C!!!! Maybe a little earlier!!! Love your block in all the ways you showed!!!! Thanks for the fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteI now follow you on facebook!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a B+ or a C-. I start in the autumn and usually am sewing on Christmas Eve, just before I'm leaving for the party.
ReplyDeleteI like your facebook page.
ReplyDeleteI usually start Christmas projects in mid-July...it helps me cool down
ReplyDeleteI posted your button link on the left sidebar of my blog. Hope that counts.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.needlethreadhappiness.blogspot.com
I guess you would rate me as a "slow and steady" because I rarely make anything specifically for Christmas, but I do work on quilty gifts all year long.
ReplyDeleteI plan Christmas all the time. Last year I started in October but still didn't get done. I can't figure out where the time goes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the alternate arrangements of your block - each is beautiful! As for Christmas, I'm a B - at least this year - I started my projects and I have completed some every month!! So far, so good.
ReplyDeletejanicep@verizon.net
I like your Facebook page!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm always running late so I guess I'm closer to "c".
ReplyDeleteI'm a B person work on something all year round for Christmas. Love your block, especially love the quilt in the spring-summery fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI'm a type C. At this time of year I'm busy trying to catch up on the Easter projects. What? Easter is past??
ReplyDeleteI'd say I am a B. Always working on holiday projects.
ReplyDeleteI am already a fan of your 2 Facebook pages.
Your block looks great in a quilt.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I am a B type person, sometimes a C. It just depends on the what I want to make that year.
I'm a type C wishing she could be a type B. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm already a Facebook fan. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteI am a "A" person in my heart but display all the tendencies of a "C" It has always been the "elusive butterfly" in my life to be on time for anything, (ask anyone who knows me) like the white rabbit . . always, always late, yew! Still working on that one:)grace55(at)hushmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteI like to think I'm a slow and steady which is how I start out but for some reason, I always end up behind and then rush. I love your block and the different ways to make a quilt with it. Thanks for a chance to win a copy of the magazine.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely start Dec 15 - really Dec 23rd is more the reality. Whatever doesn't get done goes on my list for the next December.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely start Dec 15 - really Dec 23rd is more the reality. Whatever doesn't get done goes on my list for the next December.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely start Dec 15 - really Dec 23rd is more the reality. Whatever doesn't get done goes on my list for the next December.
ReplyDeleteProbably B--I make a lot of things all year--many for the county fair in July--and just accumulate.
ReplyDeleteLizE
B, but not all year, start in June or July
ReplyDeleteI work on Christmas projects year round, just a bit at a time (in between all my other quilty projects!)
ReplyDeleteB is correct. I start on August, June to have enought time to finish everything until Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIf I shop, I'm good and buy Christmas gifts all year long. If I'm making something, I tend to do things at the last minute. Not quite as bad as 12/15 though!
ReplyDeleteI am a C type. I love the last spring summer quilt layout the best for your candy stripe blocks.
ReplyDeleteI think about them throughout the year and have good intentions, but usually don't get in high gear until November. I have to ship all my gifts so I have to be done by Dec 10 at the latest.
ReplyDeleteI am follower on FB
ReplyDeleteI think about them until about November and then the mad dash to get them done in time for Christmas. Love the Spring Colors quilt.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway.
I donot make something for Christmas, it will not be ready :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm already a Facebook follower.
ReplyDeleteI'm close to B. I start work on them during summer break and have some down by the time classes start up in the Fall. Then I finish them up between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
ReplyDeleteC of course! It's amazing I ever finish anything. Love all the different settings you showed for your block. They all look so different. Have a super day!
ReplyDeleteI follow you on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteI am between and A and B, I start early but work through out the year on projects.
ReplyDeleteI'm like a turtle ....slow and steady.
ReplyDeleteMy name would be Lisa "Procrastination" McGriff! Around October/November....
ReplyDeleteI start sewing for Christmas in September but never finish sewing for Christmas because I keep adding new projects. Congratulations on your block! I love seeing the different settings. Linda
ReplyDeletewlinda_ca@yahoodotcom
I rarely make any Christmas projects, but if I do, I start on them by August.
ReplyDeleteLove your block and the many different settings. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI like the variety of ways your block can be used in a quilt.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan on Facebook and I don't start Christmas projects until I am very rushed.
ReplyDeleteI start my Christmas shopping right after Christmas, but making Christmas gifts is usually started in the summer or maybe fall. I have 10 grandchildren -- 6 girls and 4 boys. Sewing birthday gifts keep me pretty busy.
ReplyDeleteI don't quite wait until December 15, but I do tend to wait until the last minute.
ReplyDelete
