Music Monday- Imagine Me

I think this song was written for every one of us... we are all broken or damaged in some way... life has a way of knocking us down... but I believe that there is One Who heals us, makes us whole.... The One Who made us and sees us the way He created us to be, before the world and life hurt us and discouraged us and made us feel less than...

We are not our mistakes or failures or our past, we are not the labels that people might have put on us...
How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! 1 John 3:1

Remember that He loves you just as you are right now, He is not waiting for you to somehow be "better" before He can love you... His love is perfect... that means that no matter what you do, He cannot love you more, and He cannot love you less... God is love... let Him embrace you.

  2. I think I have told you before that I think we are long lost sisters. I know we are sisters in Christ but I love that you feel the same way about the Lord that I do. Come as you are....

    Another thing... I have to show my husband the comment that you made on my blog today... He will laugh so hard. I too watch Pride and Prejudice on Oxygen all the time... I even have it on DVD but still stop everytime I see it on TV and watch it. It is my all time favorite and I feel exactly the same way you do about the music and everything. I can quote pretty much every line... It's sad! BUT true! I think I have met my match! It's so nice to know that there is someone else out there that is "normal" like me! :)
