Now, here is something REALLY fun! I'm doing a giveaway- You can win a free pattern AND a fabric kit (compliments of Northcott) to make your very own quilt.
Just leave a comment here and tell me your favorite way to spend an afternoon relaxing- is it a cup of chamomile tea, a hot bath, a favorite book or magazine? Or maybe you're one of those crazy people who go out for a run? (I can't say I understand that one, and I have the thighs to prove it, haha).
Comment by midnight on April 8 and get your name entered in the giveaway. Post a link on your blog to THIS POST and get 5 more entries! (Either mention your link in your comment, or email me to let me know that you've posted a link).
PLEASE be sure I can get in contact with you in case you're the winner- either through your blogger account or put your email in the comment.
Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI do love a cup of tea and a good book, or an afternoon in my sewing room is also very enjoyable. Any big chunk of time where I don't have to hop in the car and transport anyone anywhere is a bonus to me!
ReplyDeleteLovely giveaway! nice pattern and fabrics too.

I do enjoy a cup of tea and a good book. I don't always have time to read, but I can dream, right? I do enjoy blog reading too. Love seeing all the wonderful creative blogs out in cyberspace. Love the new pattern! Thanks for entering me.
ReplyDeleteJacquelynne what a sweet quilt!! I would love a chance to win. I've posted a link to your giveaway on my blog.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to relax is to catch up on my blog reading while sipping whatever liquid is appropriate to the day/weather. Afterwork that usually means a glass of water, on rainy days hot-chocolate or herb tea.
I enjoy a cup of coffee and a good book to relax. But also doing some stitcheries I find very relaxing!
ReplyDeleteYour pattern is so sweet and it would be so great to win!
I sit and stitch to relax. I am not a runner either. I love the quilt.
ReplyDeleteRelaxation, what's that. I have two teenagers (14 and 17), and one theraputic foster child (5)...if I get the chance to have some time to myself, I love to mess with my horses!!
ReplyDeleteOh, it has to be a cup of blueberry tea and a good book to read. A beach with some sun would help too!!
ReplyDeleteHave a God Filled Day
Shirley
Oh, I'm posting a link to your giveaway on my sidebar.
My relaxation is usually checking out quilty blogs, with a cuppa vanilla chai tea, prepared with coffeemate's Creme Brulee in my red polka dot mug. I love being home on a rainy day, like today!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the fun opportunity.
I love to relax sitting on my verandah with a cup of tea and my stitching or with a good book or sometimes paging through my quilting magazines. Your new pattern and quilt is so beautiful, I love it.
ReplyDeleteJacquelynne,I have posted a link on my sidebar, cheers.
ReplyDeleteTea and a good mystery novel ... or peace to sit and stitch :)
ReplyDeleteA cup of chai tea and a new quilt magazine sounds like fun to me! Polly :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm arriving home from a few days of holliday and I found a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteSo nice!
Well, I love a green tea, earing a good music and reading or only take a look to my cuisine books!
I love a hot cup of tea and a good book, or a hot bath and a good book. Most of all I love to spend an afternoon in my sewing room with soft music and the sun shining in the window.
ReplyDeleteMy relaxation is usually a good hot cup of tea, and an afternoon in my sewing room with no deadlines.
ReplyDeletejust time for stitching or playing with my sewing, and then a good chat with my sister on the phone.
ahhh, what could be better.
I am back again to let you know that I posted a link on my blog in my April 6th post to your giveaway. I know it works because that is how I got here. Reading blogs is another way I like to relax.
ReplyDeleteI love a good book an a a cup of coffee. Lovely giveaway! Please count me in!
ReplyDeleteI love to be at home, without my children if I am trying to relax. Usually if I get that lucky I made a pot of water, drink tea (Vanilla Robious or Chai by Tazo) and clean one room, then sit down to read if I have a book handy or sew/quilt. I have discovered that a mommy who quilts is a calmer mommy. I'd loveto say I soak in the tub with a good glass of wine and a smutty mag(like cosmo), but cleanign the bathroom is the hubbys chore and he's fallen way behind =)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to relax is to combine a hot bath and a book (although not a book that I care about getting wet--cheap old paperbacks only). I blogged about you here:

I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 2 children, one loving Hubby, and I have a home day care so there is no such thing as relaxation...but late at night I love to watch a quilt show that I have already recorded and do some hand quilting.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get a chance, I like to sit & read a good book. But with a teenager, a preschooler, a husband, 3 cats, 2 dogs & a couple of caged pets, it doesn't happen very often.

My favorite way to spend a relaxing afternoon is with a cup of tea and a book (with maybe a little nap tossed in for good measure).

Well, it is with an old movie or a favourite tv series on the dvd player, a nice bit of handwork in my hands, either knitting, crocheting or needlework....or binding which I love, a cup of tea along side, and my husband a few steps away, working in his office.
ReplyDeleteBLISS!
I love to sit on my deck, feet propped, good book, large cup of coffee, and listening to my kids laugh while playing outside.
ReplyDeleteWhen I have a afternoon free just to myself, I love a cup of tea with honey and either do some blog reading or some quilting.
ReplyDeleteHi and greetings from Western Australia. I love the Lord and love reading your blog. I always feel inspired. Thanks for making this possible. My relaxation is to sit and watch a good movie and do some hand sewing; sorry, can't just sit. Sam (Sandra) s.downes@murdoch.edu.au
