Oh my goodness- it's ANOTHER giveaway!

There are some fun things going on here. Our new pattern, Chamomile Afternoon, featuring the Love Me, Love Me Not fabric line by Ro Gregg for Northcott, has just been released. The pattern is also featured in Northcott's new ad in the upcoming issue of Fons & Porter's Easy Quilts, which will be in stores this month.

Now, here is something REALLY fun! I'm doing a giveaway- You can win a free pattern AND a fabric kit (compliments of Northcott) to make your very own quilt.
Just leave a comment here and tell me your favorite way to spend an afternoon relaxing- is it a cup of chamomile tea, a hot bath, a favorite book or magazine? Or maybe you're one of those crazy people who go out for a run? (I can't say I understand that one, and I have the thighs to prove it, haha).

Comment by midnight on April 8 and get your name entered in the giveaway. Post a link on your blog to THIS POST and get 5 more entries! (Either mention your link in your comment, or email me to let me know that you've posted a link).
PLEASE be sure I can get in contact with you in case you're the winner- either through your blogger account or put your email in the comment.
Good luck!

  3. I do love a cup of tea and a good book, or an afternoon in my sewing room is also very enjoyable. Any big chunk of time where I don't have to hop in the car and transport anyone anywhere is a bonus to me!

  5. Jacquelynne what a sweet quilt!! I would love a chance to win. I've posted a link to your giveaway on my blog.

My favorite way to relax is to catch up on my blog reading while sipping whatever liquid is appropriate to the day/weather. Afterwork that usually means a glass of water, on rainy days hot-chocolate or herb tea.

  8. Relaxation, what's that. I have two teenagers (14 and 17), and one theraputic foster child (5)...if I get the chance to have some time to myself, I love to mess with my horses!!

  20. I love to be at home, without my children if I am trying to relax. Usually if I get that lucky I made a pot of water, drink tea (Vanilla Robious or Chai by Tazo) and clean one room, then sit down to read if I have a book handy or sew/quilt. I have discovered that a mommy who quilts is a calmer mommy. I'd loveto say I soak in the tub with a good glass of wine and a smutty mag(like cosmo), but cleanign the bathroom is the hubbys chore and he's fallen way behind =)

  21. My favorite way to relax is to combine a hot bath and a book (although not a book that I care about getting wet--cheap old paperbacks only). I blogged about you here:

  22. I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 2 children, one loving Hubby, and I have a home day care so there is no such thing as relaxation...but late at night I love to watch a quilt show that I have already recorded and do some hand quilting.

  23. When I get a chance, I like to sit & read a good book. But with a teenager, a preschooler, a husband, 3 cats, 2 dogs & a couple of caged pets, it doesn't happen very often.

  25. Well, it is with an old movie or a favourite tv series on the dvd player, a nice bit of handwork in my hands, either knitting, crocheting or needlework....or binding which I love, a cup of tea along side, and my husband a few steps away, working in his office.
    BLISS!
