Did Someone Say FREE???

Thanks again to all of you came along for our blog hop- it was tons of fun!
The winners of my giveaway were Kathleen and Cindy- Thanks for playing, ladies! Your goodies are on their way to your doors....

Since this is the season of giving, I do have a few Free things for you. All of the the patterns below are available on my Free Pattern Page on my website. You can use them for stitcheries, applique, note cards, Christmas cards.... In fact, I even have a free idea sheet loaded with ideas to get you going.

You will also find a tutorial to make this cute tote on the Free Pattern Page:

Today, I am working on sewing, writing patterns, and painting for my upcoming book. I have a quilt that I made about 3 years ago which is going to be in the book. I thought I had written all of the directions out.... but when I searched my computer files, couldn't find it anywhere. So I went through my paper files, and found what looks like the scribblings of a mad woman (by the way, that would be me, in case you haven't guessed.) Now tell me- if you had to write a pattern, do you think you could make heads or tails of this:

So today I am basically writing the whole thing from scratch. (Note to self- do not expect to remember 3 years from now how you did something.... especially when you can't remember what you did 3 minutes ago...)

Lately (when not deciphering my very own secret code) I have also been doing some painting for the book:
Lesson for today: Painting = Fun.  Sorting through my chicken scratch, not so much.
Take time today to do a little something fun and creative for yourself- it refreshes the Soul!
