Just Yummy!
My daughter made these Almond Sunflower cookies this weekend, and they turned out really delicious. They are from Nancy Silverton's Pastries from the La Brea Bakery. Don't they look like something you'd see in a bakery window? The book is from the year 2000, but I think you could probably find yourself a copy if you wanted to.
The house is still a wreck. The kitchen is painted, but the oven we ordered is on backorder- which means everything else has fallen behind schedule. Hopefully, we will get the ball rolling again in the next week or so. In the meantime, I still have piles of stuff everywhere. The kitchen is usable- thank goodness- but it's not pretty! I will be glad to get everything put back together.

The cookies look amazing, what a artist she is!
ReplyDeleteThe snow is falling here in Seattle. It's pretty and I can say that because I know it will only be around till Friday. (We are supposed to get at least 3 inches in the next couple of days.)
I'm hoping to take a break and take the baby to the beach on Saturday, we will see.
Hang in there, I know you will LOOOOVE your kitchen when it's finished!
Love,
Me
