Your Suggestions, Please! & A Giveaway, Too!

Hey there, everyone! I am in need of your help! I am incredibly fortunate & blessed to be able to spend my days in my studio and kitchen, dreaming up new creations and projects. Putting together the newsletter is another thing that I really enjoy doing- it allows me to "play" in lots of different mediums and then share it all with you, my lovely readers! I do truly appreciate that you take the time to read what I've written in my blog and newsletter. That being said- I'd like to make the blog and newsletter even better! I would love your feedback. We are planning on rolling out some changes in the next several months to make both the blog and the newsletter more attractive and easy to utilize.  (But the Newsletter will remain FREE, published about 7 times per year. If you are not already a subscriber but would like to be, you can sign up here.)

(If you would like to see previous issues, click here to go to the Newsletter archives.)

Right now the Newsletter features recipes, simple craft projects and decorating ideas, etc.

  • Is there anything else you'd like to see? Other topics you'd like to see covered?
  • What do you like most about the Newsletter?
  • Is there anything you wish we'd just rid of?  (Please be honest- if there is something you dislike or find distracting, we would like to know...)
  • Should it be longer? shorter?
  • More photos? Less photos?
  • Do you have suggestions for changing the format?

******Also, right now the entire newsletter lands directly in your inbox- would you be opposed to having to click over to your browser (i.e. the interwebs) to view the newsletter? By placing the newsletter in a magazine format on the internet, it would be more attractive and easier to read, but would require you to click away from the email- would this discourage you from reading it? (This is a very important question- your feedback will determine the new format we choose for the newsletter.)

Oh, and I'm so tired of saying "Newsletter" over and over- so boring! I would love some suggestions for a new name. Something catchy, or homey & comforting, or relating to creativity....

So in order to entice you to respond (and not very subtly, either!) I am hosting a Giveaway...
Leave a comment here with your suggestions, or email me your suggestions (subject line: Suggestions Giveaway). There will be 2 winners- one will be my favorite suggestion, and the other will be randomly chosen from all comments and emails, so everyone will have a chance. If you have any suggestion- even if it seems small or you don't think it's great- please let me know! You never know where the best ideas will come from! (I've been referring mostly to the Newsletter, but I would also love your suggestions regarding my blog- content, layout, colors, frequency of posts, etc.)

Please comment or email by Tuesday December 4, 2012 (11:59 pm EST) to be entered in the Giveaway. (Of course, after that deadline, I would still be most interested in your feedback- any time...)

Oh wait! I almost forgot! Each prize will include:

These are fabulous prizes- the retail value on each prize is $75.00. Wow!

Thank you in advance for taking the time to give me your ideas and suggestions- it is truly, truly appreciated (big hug here)!

So........ since we are talking about the Newsletter, here is a preview of what's in store for the December issue, which will go out at the beginning of next week. (The subscription is free- you can sign up in the upper right bar of this blog. By signing up, you will only get the newsletter approximately every other month, no other emails from me- unless something incredible happens that I have to share, like if Brad Pitt and George Clooney are both my houseguests for the weekend, I will probably let you know... otherwise, I won't clutter up your inbox....)

December's Newsletter will feature:

Our family recipe for Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Free Printable Holly-day Tags

Instructions to make your own (inexpensive) Sparkly Tree Forest

Holiday Kitty & Friends Pattern

We celebrate festive RED....

Recipe for Apple Hazelnut Gorgonzola Mini Tarts
(a scrumptious appetizer for your holiday get togethers.....)

PLUS: Details about our upcoming sale....

Thanks for your participation and good luck on the Giveaway!!!
(Feel free to pass this on to your friends via email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
I would love lots & lots of feedback... Thank you.)

  1. How about "Noble Inspirations" for the title of your Newsletter? After all, what is the creative process if not inspired? And where do we get our creative abilities if not as inspiration from our Father who is the greatest Creator of all!

I love your Newsletter and will be happy with any direction you choose. That being said, I would not have a problem with clicking through to read it on the Internet. And I hope you will continue to include a variety of ideas - but I confess I love your stitcheries the best :*)

  2. I think something short and sweet would be a good name like Noble News - I really love it and like the stitching pattern and recipes and news about new patterns etc. I would not mind clicking over to the internet to read. I do not do facebook, pinterest etc. so I appreciate less of that type venue for giveaways and news.
    Thanks!

  3. I like the sound of the newsletter becoming a magazine format. :) As to a possible new name... Love Letters. We all know that homes filled with Love can conquer what ever this world throws their way. I also enjoy your blog and fb postings...Not sure what I would change if anything...I tend to lean towards consistency, helps with 'brand' recognition but mainly if one is constantly changing to satisfy everyone else it is easy to lose sight of the original purpose.

  4. My creative brain isn't working these days, lol.
I like your blog and the newsletter and it is fine, the way it is. I always enjoy tips and tricks for sewing techniques.

Since you have Noble, News, Newsletter and Needlework are all words that flow nicely.

  5. I prefer receiving the complete issue in email. I don't like to click on the newsletter to read. MHOO! LOL!

As to a name, how about
    The Noble Wife NEwes

  6. I love your newsletter and would't mind clicking over to my browser to read it. I always look forward to the recipes you include; I've made several and they have all been yummy. The only improvement I can think of would be to make the newsletter longer so there is more deliciousness to savor.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I'd prefer the whole newsletter in my inbox. How about Noble News, or Noble Notes?

    ReplyDelete
  8. I would rather read the newsletter on the browser than in my email box! I have hotmail and they always have adds on the side of the email. That takes away space from my email. I could see the complete content with out any interruptions from the adds!

    ReplyDelete
  9. I am new, but have read the newsletters and either way is fine. I am really enjoying all your inspiration.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I love receiving your newsletter. What about calling the newsletter: Noble Thoughts. Always inspiring to read. And I look forward to the stitchery pattern in each newsletter.

  11. I like to recieve your newsletter and would prefer to read it in an email rather than 'clicking through' I think there have been lots of great name suggestions - my favourite is 'Noble Thoughts'

  12. I was going to say Noble Notes but Robyn has already suggested that! What about "From the Noble Farmhouse"?

  13. Noble Homespun News....I really don't care which way it is delivered because I would read it what ever you do....Lisa

  14. I also love the newsletter very much. Especially the decoration tipps and pictures, recipes and of course the lovely stitcheries! I would also prefer to read it in an email.
I do love your blog colours too. They are so warm and comfy!
And I think it is very well done. I can easily find what I am looking for.
The name which comes to my mind for the newsletter is: The Nobel Wif's Blessings!( Or use the month with it like: The Nobel Wife: November Blessings.)
I think you bless us very much with this letter and we also learn what has blessed you!
    Thanks so much!

  15. I always click and read it as a webpage. It seems easier to me that way.

I think a new section with hints on how to accomplish things like :
How do I get my quilt in a magazine..

How do I get to be a quilt designer for new fabric lines.

and a section where we get to make suggestions for you.

For example I'd love to see you or another designer make an inspirational fabric line for disasters like "Sandy". I know you made a children's line this year but how about another line with both secular and non-secular sayings.

  16. I love the newsletter. Especially the recipes. I think it would be great to make it more of an online magazine type newsletter. I always enjoy the pictures, so more color and pictures would be great.
As for a name, how about Noble Inspirations or Noble Creations?
Thanks and keep up the wonderful work

  17. I love your newsletter as well!! The layout is awesome, pictures are superb, and your wit and discourse is like having tea and chatting!! Keep it up!! As for a new title... how about "The Noble Trends"?

  18. HI! LOVE YOUR NEWSLETTER!
IT IS BRIGHT+CHEERFUL WITH PHOTOS-WHICH I THINK IS IMPORTANT!
"NOBLE NEWS" COULD BE YOUR TITLE?
I LIKE THAT.I'D READ IT IN ANY FORMAT-I'VE LEARNED SO MUCH FROM RECIPES TO OTHER FABRIC HINTS!
    THANKS FOR SHARING!

  19. I love your newsletter.I love the bright color and beautiful photos. The recipes are yummiest and love that the new one will be a magazine but love to read it when it arrives to my inbox.
A section to share tips and ideas would be welcome
    A name?Noble wife.I don´t want change it.It`s very cool.

  20. I am new to your blog and LOVE your stitiches. How about Noble Notions, being as you cover a wide variety of crafts. I am good with either format of newsletter, of which I am having a bit of a hard time getting subscribed to.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Well, I must say I love your newsletter as it is! The photography is awesome, and I like the recipes, crafts, and stitching patterns. Dee took the words right out of my mouth as I was going to say Noble Notions too! LOL Or if you don't want noble in it, you could have something like Jottings from Jacquelynne, or Jacquelynne's Joyful News, ok, I get carried away. :-) Thanks for the fun!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I don't mind clicking over to another page to see your newsletter. I actually do that with things that say "if you're having trouble viewing this, click here" because my email provider takes up most of my screen's space with their stupid stuff!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I just signed up for your newsletter because of a link found on Pat Sloan's site. From what I can see, it has much to offer just the way it is.
I tend to stay with those that offer applique and quilty things in every issue.
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway opportunity!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I wouldn't mind clicking over to other pages to read the newsletter, but think it would be distracting. It's nice to get it in an email and being able to have everything on one page. (Makes the letter 'flow' better. Hope that makes sense.)

The newsletter is enjoyable and has a pinch of everything. In comparison to other newsletters, this one already stands out as it is now.

I have no ideas for a name, because it's the whole 'A rose by any other name would smell as sweet' business! :)

  25. I love your newsletter and look forward to it. I prefer that it stay on email delivery. I do jump to other areas but I prefer to not have to. Not sure why. Your photograpy and graphics are so nicely done. There have already been some really good name suggestions and I am sure one will resonate with where the Lord is leading you in this endevor. Blessings to you.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I think it is really up to you as to how to send out your newsletter, but I would probably read it more readily if it went right into my In Box. There is so much information out there now, that I have to sometimes choose what I read. So just to say that if it pops up in my email, I would be more likely to read it.

Newsletter is such a generic term, but a new name should identify YOU. Several have made some great suggestions already.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I really enjoy your newsletter in my Inbox. I look forward to it each month! I would keep it just as it is. As for a new name maybe Noble Goods or Noble Notes or Noteworthy Notions?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Creatively Noble

    Noble I Am

    A Walk with Noble

Just a few to add to your list. Love the newsletter and I do love the pictures too!!

  29. I really don't mind clicking over to read the newsletter! I love everything about your blog. Will follow no matter how you change it. jbechosend at sbcglobal dot net

  30. I like the first suggestion of Noble Inspiration - because that is what you are to us. You inspire us with your recipes, crafts and snippets of your family life. Personally, I would prefer to click to your newsletter - the print is usually larger and I don't have to keep moving the page back and forth in my email to read it. Plus the background is much better on a separate web page then against the white background of my email - plus that will give you another place to be creative and play with backgrounds to match your news. If you could add a print-friendly link to your recipes, it would make it much easier for everyone to "harvest" your recipes! I love seeing pictures of what you have made, but they eat too much ink when printed out or I have to copy and paste back and forth to a word document. Looking forward to seeing what you have up your sleeve!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. How about Noble Hour...I like Noble Inspiration as well. It fits your perspective.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I like your blog and the newsletter. I like the tips and inspirations you are sharing. I love to see some freebies on the issue :D I love your stitching :D

    ReplyDelete
  33. I love anything about you, but I have been away from the quiltland for a while due to my husband and I do not receive your newsletter anymore. I will change that NOW.

My suggestions of what I like in newsletters. 1) change the name. Newsletter is boring. UGH. Gotta be creative with that.
    2) one recipe a newsletter, but not more. Or not even each time. just sometimes.
    3) An easy project AND a mystery BOM, each month.
    4) make it easier on yourself and busy readers, bi monthly is fine!
    5) Something short but sweet from your real life.
    6) many of us like you because we share the same faith, so a very short devotional. maybe a verse and a thought is all.
    7) ?? Cant think of one...I probably will at midnight or something.

Anyway, I am going to subscribe now and look forward to reading it when my life slows down a bit. (Hubby is in the hospital and has been for most of 3 months.)

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am not so creative tonight. I think I like the word noble and/or creative in your titile, maybe something like Noble Times? The mix of things from food to decorating to quilting is one of the things I really like so don't change that!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Hi Jacquelynn I really enjoy your newsletter it is packed with all kinds of information and really appreciate all the work you put into it.
As for a name I think you should keep Noble in it and maybe something like the "Noble Nitch or Noble Antics" I was trying to go with something playful. I enjoyed some of your cookie recipes and well allot of the info you post is wonderful. I would not mind at all to go to another area to read it.
    take care

    ReplyDelete
  36. love the newletter as it has been; it's your thoughts, ideas, what you feel and value; that's why we follow! so, if you want to change the format, do so. if you want a new name ... Just Jacquelyn! if you want an email link to the new newsletter, do that, too. plenty of other bloggers do that. it's no biggie. make your changes to please yourself; you can always change it again 'til your happy with the results. have fun while you're doing this.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I prefer reading a newsletter right in the body of the email. If it's not, I probably tell myself I'll look at it later but then never get back to it.

I always make sure I check a newsletter if there's news about new fabric lines (with nice photos and photos of projects made with it) and I love information such as "what solids or almost solids go with what lines". Information like that is helpful when you can't be certain of colours without seeing them in person.

Sewing tips or uses for sewing tools are always welcome, especially new ways to use the usual tools.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Interesting conversation. I just signed up for the newsletter and look forward to getting it. I'm interested primarily in sewing projects, but I like a good craft or recipe, too, so I think I will like all the parts of it. Good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I love your news letter. My favorite parts are the embroidery patterns. I also really enjoy the color shade that you have been adding to the beinning of you letter. The browns were fabulous last month. For a name for your news letter, The N.W. News Flash. Looking forward to Decembers letter and your shades of red!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Your newsletter looks good to me. I'm not sure what to add except maybe a tip or two about something. It could be anything. Maybe reader tips? Also, I don't like thosemagazine formats. They can be slow to download, and they don't work on the iPad.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Hmmm - I think it would discourasge me to 'click' over to read it - I prefer a newsletter to be in the actual email it was sent in. Easier. Life is already too full and complicted to be cicking away again which means I would become distracted and never find where I started from originally!! Like the name 'newsletter' as e-zine is a bit annoying!!!! amycav at hotmail dot com

    ReplyDelete
  42. How about Noble Life. I would love a PDF format that I can add to my Ipad to read when I want. I don't want to click through.

I'd prefer the personal stuff to be either shorter or further down the newsletter. Love the recipes and decorating ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I had never seen your newsletter until today, but am now a happy subscriber! Definitely something I will enjoy. Instead of newsletter, try calling it a 'publication'? It all looks wonderful to me.:)

    ReplyDelete
  44. How about calling the newsletter "Noble News"? I also love the idea of having it in a magazine format, and would have no objection to clicking away from the email to read it.

  46. I found you through It's Sew Kiki-I'll have to thank her for that. I signed up to follow you through Facebook and subscribed to the newsletter. I am a beginning quilter so the only thing I would like to see is what to do with fabric collections at different skill levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Maybe a link in the letter. Thank you so much.

    ReplyDelete
  47. A name you may consider is Noble Ideas.I am interested in Quilts,Seasonal projects which you do have.A BOM would be neat.
I am not a fan of clicking over but would do it if you went that way. I love pictures so do not decrease. You are doing a great job.

    ReplyDelete
  48. For the newletter format, I prefer if the email has only teasers and you click to see the full version online. That way I can decide if I want to check out the full version or not (and now that I have a smart phone, I do enjoy spending my bus commute fussing around online).

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love your newsletter as is. My motto is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". I enjoy the pictures, the craft ideas, the recipes. It's comfortable and cozy, and you make me feel like I am right there with you at your kitchen table, sharing a cup of tea. I wouldn't mind clicking over to the webpage. It's very worth an extra click!

    ReplyDelete
  50. How about Noble Times or Noble Life for a title?

I'd like to receive the newsletter in an email along with a link to a browser as well. That way I have the option to see it either way no matter which computer I'm using. My desktop and my laptop each have their quirks. Sometimes they're downright cranky. =) soparkaveataoldotcom

  51. Thanks for this giveaway..I am signing up for the ......how about 'Something Noble'?

    ReplyDelete
  52. I prefer your newsletter the way it is but I wouldn't mind viewing it as a magazine. What is important to me is that I can save it to view later and/or repeatedly.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I think Noble News from the Farmhouse. Then each section could have a cute name. Chicks Picks etc.
I wouldn't mind clicking pictures that inspire me over to my browser.
I love to read more tutorials and lessons to help improve my skills. Love the free pattern. Love the free drawing we can use that for stitching.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I just signed up for your newsletter and went back and read a few of them. How about the Noble Wife's Happenings? Or since you have a color theme in them, the Noble Wife's Colorful Happenings? I really like the recipes and free patterns and the fact you let us get to know you in your newsletters. I wouldn't mind some tutorials, I'm always wanting to learn something new!

  55. Maybe it's just me but I could do without the pictured calories. (I swear I gain weight just looking at them.) I come to see the designs, your creativity. Use The Noble Wife. You've got the brand, as the Donald would say!

  56. The Noble Wife's News or just Noble Wife suits. And, I read more often if it comes to my box. I just found you and loved checking you out...hope to sign up.

  57. As someone who is trying to write a newsletter for our LQS, I took this challenge very seriously. I know how difficult it is to come up with fresh, relevant content. I like the web version of the newsletter. The photos are sharp and the colors appear true. I agree with one of the earlier comments about the email version...with all the ads that are being stuck in the webmail windows these days, it's so much easier to read the webpage version. I especially enjoy the articles about what is happening in the fabric industry, quilt market, your fabric designs etc. It makes me feel like I am in touch. And the personal touches you add, make us (your readers) feel as if we know you. Thanks,

  58. I would prefer the magazine format for the newsletter, even if I have to click over to it.

  60. I get the Nole Wife blog in my email. And I love that I can follow the life of one so obviously in touch with life itself. I love the layout, its simple yet very readable. I love that I can just open my email. And even though Im not an orange fan, I love the colors chosen, it all fits with life and being a noble wife.

    ReplyDelete
  61. It seems like you already have enough suggestions so I won't leave one, But I love your web site I have learned so much here. I am just sorry it took me so long to find it. I will be telling all my friends about it in case they are missing it. Keep up the good work.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I follow your blog andi receive your newsletter. I would not mind clicking over to view your newsletter. I do like your stitcheries, but I haven't tried your recipes yet. I would enjoy seeing some of the ways you use your fabrics as well. As far as a name, when I think of Noble Wife, I always think of Proverbs 31 and since the Bible is composed of letters, why not Letters from a Noble Wife?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'd love to leave you a wonderful suggestion for improving your work...but I like it just like it is. I look forward to seeing more.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Your news letter is beautiful! I would like to continue to receive it as an email. Someone above suggested Noble Inspirations and I think that is a wonderful name that truly
fits :) Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I'm new here, so I checked out your newsletter archives, and I was impressed. Coming onto your site, I didn't know you were a fabric designer, (but I found I do have some of your fabric!) and you were not just trying to sell your products. Nothing makes me unsubscribe faster than a "buy me, buy me!" newsletter. The format is great, I love a lot of pictures, but I personally would rather click over to a browser to read, as there's less distractions. I'm looking forward to reading more, Thank you! sguday at shaw dot ca

  66. WOW! This is a great newsletter. I will be looking forward to more.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Jacquelynne, I emailed you my suggestions about the newsletter. The main thing is that you keep having one in whatever format (email or online) since you will never make everyone happy. Why don't you try for 3 months having it both as an email and online and let people get used to the idea of an online version? It seems so much more expedient to be able to access it all in one place for back issues, etc. God bless you my friend and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

  69. I just discovered your site for the first time this morning. I like what I saw, and I'm going to subscribe. I like the idea of the magazine format. I don't think a blog or newsletter can ever have too many pictures. Looking forward to upcoming issues.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I have never visited yhour blog or read your newsletter before this. I saw it featured on the Aurifil page on Facebook. I am signing up because your teasers for your December issue interest me!I can't offer constructive suggestions at this time, but I offer a thought. How does a blogger attract people like myself, who don't want to spend lots or time reading at the computer? (I've answered that myself. I saw tidbits that interested me.)

  71. I am one of you newest followers. I love you website and the wonderful things that you make and design. I don't mind the email format but I think the magazine format would be better. Thanks so much for sharing all of your ideas with all of us!

Thanks so much for the giveaway.

  73. I love the newsletter. I am a newer follower but love the variety I have seen. I might be reluctant to click on a link to take me to the browser to see the newsletter versus in my inbox when it first hits my box and I may then forget to go back there.

    ReplyDelete
  74. This is my first time visiting due to your giveaway. I love all the embroidery patterns that you post. I wouldn't mind if it was a direct to the internet link. Thanks for the giveaway.

  75. I'm brand new here, but I already LOVE what I see. The cookies look stunning, and I will go read the back issues at naptime. I would click on a link for a newsletter, but really prefer blogs to go straight to my inbox. Even a partial post that I must click t get to the whole post. I NEVER remember to go to my "reader". I don't see a place to sign up for the blog.

  76. Either format works for me. I would like to see more pics of your critters and work space. I think it would help your followers get to know you better and it would be more like friends sending pics and emails instead of blogger and bloggee?? how about noble notables and news? I would love to see more projects you have done (again the friend thing) and since i do only hand piecing and hand quilting, something about that occasionally. Keep up the vreat work babscorbitt@gmail.com

  77. How about Creating on the Noble side.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I've never heard of this cool publication before, but I'm certainly subscribing now. I took some time to look through the archives, and I really REALLY like the formating you've used in the past 2 months to showcase the color you're enjoying. I especially liked how you did the browns, in the cicles. It was a really pleasant place for my eye to rest and wander, and looked so put together. I definitely prefer that format to the formatting ie in the month showcasing green. I feel like it's a little less distracting.

As for rather e-mail or a click-through link, I'd rather get the newsletter in an e-mail format. I think if it's something you click through, it's almost like a glorified blog post, and wouldn't necessarily get the same readership. Although, if it was something where you could filter it through a google reader, I'd definitely see it every month, as that is how I read through all the blogs I follow now.

I really love the recipes you include, I think they're very innovative, and they look so yummy. I now want to try making some carmel coverd pears! (look what you've done!!) :)

Good luck as you redesign, I imagine it's quite challenging.

P.S: I think it's fabulous that you include updates about your family! <3

  79. I would click to find the newsletter (from my email) but it is easier to read everything right in the email, I guess - seems as though I frequently click from emails to the whole post, with no trouble! My favorite features of the newsletter are the free stitcheries (!) and the color features, and the articles about what to do at a particular time of year. Love the whole newsletter, actually!

  80. I really enjoy your newsletter, I wouldn't change anything (except maybe more embroidery designs, I love them)
I would prefer teasers in the email with clickable links with a PDF or print link for those of us that still like to have the printed word in our hands.

I enjoy reading your newsletter and if switching to a magazine format makes it easier to read, I say "go for it!" I like the length of your newsletter and the no. of photos. I'm looking forward to learning how to make a Sparkly Tree Forest! And thank you for your words of faith and inspiration.

  83. I like the fact that you include recipes in your newsletter. What about some yarn projects, knitting crocheting and the like.

  84. the newsletter looks great as is, but I think it would be great to click and read online, rather than as email. How about Noble Notes or something similar for name? Wonderful prize, by the way. Thanks! And I want the chocolate crinkle recipe NOW!! lol. I'm signing up.

  85. This is my first visit here, so I went and checked out a couple of your newsletters. I really enjoyed them! I'd offer up the name Noble Bits, as there seems to be a little "bit" of everything! I'll be signing up for your newsletter, and the format really doesn't matter to me!

    ReplyDelete
  86. I love everything how it is. I think you have a great setup going on. I know the newsletter in mag form sounds batter but personally I don't think I would click out of the e-mail to read it. Best of luck!

  87. I love it the way it is. thanks for the chance!

  88. I like Teresa's suggestion of Noble Inspirations. Noble News would be my second choice.
I have no problem clicking away from email. I do it all the time with other newsletters.

And I'm pretty happy with the format as is. :)

    Wonderful giveaway!!!

  91. I would not mind at all leaving the emails to read your newsletter, so I vote for: newsletter in a magazine format on the internet.

Also I love to see pet pictures and nature pictures at the change of the seasons.

    Thanks for all you do.

As for a name that is real hard. Your newsletter has a little bit of everything. How about

    Noble Bits & Pieces

  96. I already receive your newsletter and prefer to receive it via email. That makes it easier if I want to save, print or forward it to someone. My suggestion plays off your book. How about "From Noble Hands".

  98. I personally love the magazine format idea with lots of photos, recipes, patterns, sidebars, your favorite links, etc, etc. The more, the merrier in my opinion. Is there a way that you would post the link on Facebook and then we can read it from there? That way it would be easy to share too.
As for a title for your newsletter...A number of people have already suggested "Noble news"...that seems very fitting.

  107. I really like having the newsletter arrive in my mailbox. That way I can save it (in a file with inspiring crafting/quilting/homemaking projects and refer to it even when I'm not online.

So you can see that I value your newsletter; I have no ideas about changing it, because I think it is pretty sensational right now.

  108. I would love to have a few printables with gorgeous quotes on them. Also how about a child themed newsletter once a year. With lots of child projects - quilts, crafts they can do, recipes that children love or they can help to cook.
I really enjoy reading the newsletter and your blog. I find that I particularly like craft ideas and tutorials but I am happy to see what you are making or have found and the ideas that you have for them.

  110. I love reading your newsletter. How about a block a month of your stitchery? They are so cute and it would be wonderful to have a Christmas or any other BOM. Love the variety you include in the newsletter. I would read it whether it is by newsletter( a little easier to save to read later) or to click a link.

  111. I hope this isn't a duplicate. My last message I attempted to send disappeared--who knows what I did.

I will read the newsletter whatever way I receive it. My suggestion is make it easy on yourself.

The name for the newsletter that poped in my head was The Noble Farmhouse News.

  112. I wanted to recommend "Noble Thoughts" but someone else said it earlier :) so How about "Mail-Noble" (sound a littlebit like the Bat-mobil, ha?), I'm starting to confuse myself :) so I'll wish you all the good luck finding a new name... :)

I would like to see a few more pictures of things you might be working on, probably my favorite parts of reading the different blogs.
I wouldn't mind clicking on to go to the web browser, my email section is very small so I often do that anyway. Looking forward to December newsletter, red is my favorite color and I have been looking for a good chocolate crinkle cookie recipe.

  121. I always enjoy your newsletter so any format you choose to put it in I will continue to read it. I love the embroidery designs and patterns that you include as well as the recipes and decorating ideas. I am not sure what you could do to improve on what you are already giving us. I always find it interesting when you share about books you are reading or things that are going on in your life. Now as far as a name goes I was reading your profile and you quote Proverbs 31 where it says a noble wife is far above rubies so I decided to look up information about rubies. I found that rubies were considered of great value, wisdom and prized treasure. So for a name I thought maybe Rubies of Inspiration, Rubies from the Noble Wife, or just Ruby. I don't know if you follow Susan Branch but she sends out a newsletter she calls Willard which I love to read as much as yours. She finally told the story behind the name but I had never realized there was a story behind it because when she said she was sending out Willard you always knew it was her newsletter. So if you send out Ruby your followers will always know it is your newsletter.

  125. Hi! I love your newsletter and that it combines quilting, crafts and recipes. I would prefer to click over and not get it via email, I delete so much stuff out of my IN box these days. When I read blogs, that's when I have time to read a newsletter, not in my email time. Thx J! I'm an embroidery luvr so thx for the free pattern too.

  143. Jacquelyne! I just looked at 3 archives of your issues and I LOVE your newsletter!! I love everything about it! I honestly can't imagine how you can improve upon it. The photos are so rich. I love the color schemes, so inspiring. The recipes all sound irresistible. The free embroidery patterns make me want to put my big girl pants on and get that needle in my hand (do they make full hand thimbles??) to bless some friends with these sweet designs! And I love reading about what's going on in your life & I've never met you! Your newsletters are the most refreshing things I've read in a long time.
God bless you for what you're doing with the Quilts for Kids, I got tears in my eyes.

  144. I guess I should have read all the previous comments, but didn't have time. My thought for your title is "Noble Notations." It's uses alliteration, is almost a synonym for newsletter, and it just plain has a nice ring to it! I wouldn't mind having to click to your site for the newsletter - I have to click to see the photos within my email reader anyway. If I click through to your site, I can also wander around and find something new while I'm there! Glad you had a good holiday - love the looks of that cranberry cake.
